Last night saw quite a few of the girls from IDS out on a hen night to celebrate the forthcoming marriage of Laura our Special Projects Co-Ordinator.

Here she is starting the evening in style!

Yesterday I attended a great day hosted by UK Trade & Investment which was specifically for female business owners. It was held in a converted barn at the beautiful Hestercombe Gardens in Somerset. I met lots of inspirational women who are taking their business overseas to new markets. We already export to over 35 countries but I am always keen to pick up new ideas and better ways of working.

A very productive day ended with us exchanging business cards as we walked back through these wonderful gardens. A great way to do business!

Last weekend I was in London to attend the ISTD Congress at Laban (more on that later) and was lucky enough to see the Saturday evening performance of Dirty Dancing. A brilliant show starring Martin Harvey, which was made even more special by a trip backstage to meet my hero. The shows writer, Eleanor Bergstein, popped into the dressing room while I was there but Martin made my day by posing for a photo with me! I just had to share it with you. Lucky me!!
